Aerial Lift Truck

Upon completion of the training, you will be able to:
  • Recognize the safety hazards of operating a bucket truck
  • Perform safe operating procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Reference OSHA requirements and manufacturer’s manuals for aerial lift operations
  • Conduct vehicle and aerial lift daily inspections and determine when maintenance and repairs are required
  • Properly set-up the vehicle and work area protection
  • Recognize the need for and proper use of personal protective equipment
  • Operate the aerial lift from the lower pedestal and upper bucket control panels
  • Perform emergency operations of the lift truck
